Akritas publications were founded in 1978. Since then, initially under their founder Dimitris Kokkinos, they have charted a distinct path in the field of Orthodox Christian Spirituality. Today the course continues by Maria D. Kokkinou and her team with books that introduce us to the Orthodox Christian way of being and seek immediacy in the experiential approach to the Orthodox Christian faith and life.
